Executive Profile I am an Award-winning Higher Education Executive with more than 30 years of progressive leadership experience across universities, non-profit organisations, government partnerships, and international development initiatives in Southern Africa. Recognised nationally for providing visionary leadership in higher education, institutional advancement, fundraising, innovation, strategic partnerships, curriculum development, organisational transformation, and capacity building. An accomplished executive with a proven ability to build high-performing teams, mobilise significant donor funding, establish sustainable partnerships, and deliver measurable institutional impact. Throughout an extensive career, I have held senior executive leadership positions at the University of the Free State, North-West University, the University of Johannesburg, the Foundation of Tertiary Institutions of the Northern Metropolis (FOTIM), and the Second Chance South Africa Foundation. I have successfully led academic, research, innovation, fundraising, community engagement, and development portfolios while collaborating with government departments, SETAs, corporate South Africa, international development agencies, embassies, universities, and multilateral organisations. Her fundraising leadership has secured more than R63 million for teacher development, innovation, research, and institutional capacity-building programmes. In addition to executive leadership, I am an experienced researcher, postgraduate supervisor, curriculum specialist, leadership coach, and international development consultant with extensive board and governance experience.
